Sore feet in Suffolk….

On Wednesday, 25 April Leo Design, Print and Promotions exhibited at the 2012 Suffolk Business Exhibition – but the preparations began weeks in advance as we were asked to print the 2012 ISSBA Members Directory along with leaflets, brochures, cards and promotional gifts for some of the 80 stand holders.

We were also unveiling our latest investment – a brand new purpose built exhibition stand (pictured) which we are over the moon with. Exhibitions are a great way for us to showcase our products and services, as well as talking to other businesses and gaining an insight in  to what they do.

We were delighted to welcome hundredsof visitors to our stand and had lots of fun testing out our ‘stress measuring’ business cards and handing out (as well as eating a few) cones of jelly beans. Our brand new catalogues were hot off the press and we couldn’t believe how quickly they were flying off the rack – the sign of a very successful event!

So what are business people talking about? When we exhibited in Essex last month the hot topic was around printing and how important professional branding is to SMEs. Business owners are often surprised at how simple and cost-effective it is to put together a branded package that can really give them the edge on their competitors.

 However, just a few weeks later in Suffolk and everyone is talking about how they can get involved in ‘summer GB’. With the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Euro 2012 and the Olympic Games just around the corner it’s time to start waving the flag!

So, after a long nine hours, our sore feet were a small price to pay for such a successfulday. Our thanks and congratulations must go to the volunteers from ISSBA, Suffolk Chamber and Menta who work incredibly hard to organise the event to showcase the Suffolk business community.
